Ssenyondo  shrugged off competition from fellow coaches David Obua and Hussein Mbalangu of URA FC and NEC FC respectively.

His side Kitara did not loose any of their 4 matches played last month. They defeated UPDF FC, KCCA and Wakiso Giants and played out a 1-1 stalemate with SC Villa collecting 10 points and ascended to the top of the table standings.

On the other hand, Obua’s side won three and lost one game in February while NEC won two, lost and drew one apiece.

In an interview with the club media, the manager revealed that winning such accolades, means you have to focus and working harder.

” I want to thank the coaches I was nominated with for giving me good competition. Winning never comes easy.”

“This award is victory for everyone from my players, technical and support staff, administration and the fans. Each one of them has had an impact on our success and we hope to stick together and focus on achieving more together.”
