Kitara football club has renewed its  sponsorship deal with Kinyara Sugar Limited in a package worth thirty million Uganda Shillings. This partnership will run up to the end of the current 2023/24 football campaign.

These two parties had signed a 7 months agreement earlier in February but it expired at the end of September.

Under the sponsorship, Kinyara Sugar limited will have it’s Logo on the sleeves of Kitara training and match day kits. The company will also advertise inside the stadium during Kitara FC home matches.

Kitara FC president Mr. Deo Kasozi was represented by Mr Mugerwa Francis, the vice president communication while Kinyara sugar limited was represented by the company general manager, Mr. Ravi Ramalingam .

Mr. Mugerwa commended the sugar manufacturers for the commitment and support and urged more companies to copy Kinyara.

“Kitara football club is very excited to renew our business partnership with Kinyara Sugar Limited. The  first deal was largely successful and we believe that working with one of the biggest companies in both the region and country will yield a lot of benefits.

” We also hope this marriage can in future attract other investors and companies to inject money in sports.”

Mr. Ravi Ramalingam revealed that Kitara’s sponsorship is among the initiatives of the company to support communities in Bunyoro region.

The sugar producers were the main shirt sponsor for the Royals FC during the 2022/23 FUFA Big league.
