Kitara Football Club has entered partnership with Uganda Women Super League entity, Lady Doves FC.

This was made official after the two clubs signed a memorandum of understanding at Golden Castle Hotel in Hoima City on Saturday evening.

The document was signed by Kitara FC president, Deo Kasozi and Mr. Nsingwire Godfrey, the team manager of Lady Doves FC. The Royals’ CEO, Joshua Atugonza was also present.

Lady Doves FC will become Kitara FC’s official women’s team in all its FUFA, CAF and FIFA engagements beginning next campaign.

This is in fulfillment of one of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and Uganda Premier League club licensing requirements for any team playing in the two inter club football competitions to have a women football team.

Kitara FC qualified to play in the CAF confederation cup after winning the 2023/24 Stanbic Uganda Cup last month.

Lady Doves FC finished 4th in the Women’s Super league last season. They are based in Masindi district and host their games at Dove Katusabe play ground.
