Brain Ssenyondo has warned his charges the competition will not be any easier as they begin a tricky bend of fixtures in the StarTimes Uganda premier league.

Kitara begin November with a home tie against Maroons before two straight trips to URA and BUL FC from which they must strive to get the best results.

 

The encounter against Maroons at the Masindi stadium is expected to be tough considering the fact that the Prison warders  have lost just one game out of the last five.

The Muhammad Senfuma coached side are a stubborn opponent that will not be taken lightly; they recently pulled a draw with URA at the death but had earlier shocked KCCA at Lugogo beating them 1-2.

 

The Royals come into this game three points adrift table leaders BUL who played a day earlier and won 1-0 over URA. Therefore the gaffer called for his players to show consistency and aggressiveness when Kitara face the Luzira based outfit.

 

“The competition is getting tougher with each game. Our approach must also change accordingly, they (Maroons) are a tactically good side and will not sit back but rather bring their game to us. However, we have to do better than we did at Wakiso by utilizing our chances in the goal mouth and also defending well,” Ssenyondo said.

“Every player that will be on the pitch must show more hunger, determination and passion throughout the game if we are to get the best out of it because it’s important for our fans.”

 

A win for Kitara will see them not only return to the table summit but also stretch their maintain run to six matches.

Team news:

Dudu Ramadhan and Najib Yiga are ruled out of this fixture through injury and rehabilitation respectively.

 

Solomon Okwalinga resumed training with the rest of his teammates after recovering from a hamstring injury.
The midfielder missed our 1-3 win at Wakiso Giants but is back and could feature if selected.

 

Derrick Byabachwezi’s hand is now fine following a recovery from a dislocation but this fixture comes quite early for the youthful forward.
