The international break is finally over and all focus shifts to our Uganda premier league match day 8 encounter with BUL FC slated this Sunday away at the FUFA Technical center in Njeru.

Our last fixture ended in a 2-2 draw with URA and the Royals shall make  trip to Jinja to play their last match of  the month of November.

Ahead of our journey to the East, here is the latest team news and injury updates you need to know.

There is generally good news from our sick bay as the medical team comprising Enock Kayondo and Isaac Nicholas Ssengoba confirm there is no fresh injury concern as all players have been cleared except Benjamin Nyakoojo.

” We have only Benjamin Nyakoojo and Mbabali Joseph to monitor. The rest of the players that were previously on the sidelines have been cleared though some will have to pass late fitness tests before returning to full action,” team doctor, Enock Kayondo explained.

Dudu Ramadhan resumed training with the rest of his teammates last week and is expected to be in contention to face his former pay masters.
The center back was nursing an anserine bursitis (is an inflammation of the bursa located between the shinbone (tibia) and three tendons of the hamstring muscle at the inside of the knee) which has kept him on the sidelines since the start of this season.

Solomon Okwalinga shook off a nagging hamstring injury he suffered during our 3-1 victory over KCCA last month. The midfielder will however have to pass a late fitness test before he can make the final match day squad.

Najib Yiga has looked impressive since recovering from a knee injury, he also scored four goals in a friendly match played on Tuesday. The forward will be available for selection against BUL on Sunday.

Clinton Kamugisha will have to undergo a late fitness test before he can make his maiden league appearance this term. The midfielder had been sidelined with knee problem but has made steady improvement in training.

Paddy Muhumuza missed our 2-2 game through malaria but he’s made full recovery and is ready to play again.

Denis Omedi has been on national duty with the Uganda Cranes away in Morocco for the 2026 World cup qualifier games against Guinea and Somalia but is expected to regroup with his teammates before they travel to Jinja.
