Kitara football club is delighted to announce the signing of Fred Amaku.
Amaku penned a year’s agreement with the Uganda Cup holders whom he joins as a free agent upon the expiry of his contract with Maroons FC.
” This is an incredible opportunity to show what I can do at Kitara FC,” Amaku said.
“I love to play before passionate fans and the ones at my new club will inspire me more. I think this is a step further for me to continue achieving the best I can as a player.”
The youthful striker becomes Brian Ssenyondo’s fifth signing following the arrival of David Ndihabwe, Ronald Otti, Titus Ssematimba and Marvin Nyanzi.
He was instrumental for the Prison warders last season scoring 12 league goals and completed the campaign as their leading scorer.
Experienced and consistent, Amaku is expected to beef up the Royals’ striking line alongside Denis Omedi, Brian Ahebwa and George Senkaaba.
The forward has also played for Paidha Black Angels FC and Kirinya Jinja SS (now Busoga United FC)
