Wasswa Bbosa has insisted Kitara FC can still turn around their season even after their poor run in the league continued.

The club bosses are backing Bbosa despite the 2-0 loss to URA away at Hamz Stadium - Nakivubo on Friday night.

But upcoming tricky games at Bright Stars, a home tie versus UPDF and a trip to Vipers this month await as pressure ramps up from the fans who want to see their team bounce back.

Kitara won the Uganda Cup and finished fourth last season, but have already lost five of their seven games this season and are currently in the relegation zone.

Wasswa Bbosa said every team hits a rough patch and it’s still early for us to panic.

” We have no reason to panic, we are step by step handling the few challenges on the pitch and we are sure the team can sort this out,” he said.

“ We have not played anywhere close to what we’re capable of playing, and we are working hard to address some of these gray areas in our trainings and very soon we believe the results will be good.

“Our job is to ensure the players keep their belief and this is the most important thing. We’ve got over twenty games left to play, and we got to work together and stick to the plan.”

Kitara who are 13 points adrift table leaders KCCA FC and two points from the bottom of the table will face Bright Stars next Friday away at Kavumba recreation ground.
